Why study economics?

The world speaks the language of economics
Economics dominates social and political relations, influences the choices and behaviour of families and individuals (how much to save, how to invest, etc.), and shapes cultural orientations.
A gratifying career
Thanks to interdisciplinary training and the large number of fields of application, there is a wide range of career opportunities open to graduates in Economics: as a chartered accountant, a top level manager in private or public corporations, or access to  a career in independent business, public administrations, international organisations, financial markets as well as the social economics sectors.
