If you are interested in studying in our Faculty, you must first get information about how to enrol at the Italian Consulate in your own country. They will be able to explain the procedure to you and give you the dates by which each phase of the enrolment must be completed.

The Ministry of University and Research (MIUR) has a webpage giving information about the procedure which may be useful to you: http://www.study-in-italy.it.

A pre-enrolment has to be made first at the Italian Consulate in your country and the documents will be sent to the University and Faculty you have chosen for assessment. Then, when you have obtained a stay permit for study and come to Italy, you have to go to the Student Administration for information about the Italian exam you may have to take. This must be done by the end of August.

FEES:  tuition fees vary according to the student’s income and have to be paid during the academic year.

KNOWLEDGE OF THE ITALIAN LANGUAGE: Courses are held mainly in Italian and only a few are in English. Therefore students need to have reached an intermediate level in Italian. “Sapienza” offers Italian language courses for foreign students and the Faculty of Economics can organise courses on request.
